This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit our portal, create an account, post a review or use any of our CS2 skin site comparison tools. We have written it in plain language because privacy notices only work if people actually read them.
When you browse the site we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring pages and the pages you view. If you register an account we additionally store your email address, display name, password hash and, where you choose to link it, your public Steam profile ID. We never receive or store your Steam password.
We use this data to operate the portal, keep your account secure, personalise the content and promo codes shown for your region, measure which reviews and guides are useful, and prevent spam, vote manipulation and abusive behaviour in user reviews and comments.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the portal — hosting, analytics and email delivery partners — under contracts that restrict how they may use it. When you click an affiliate link to a skin site, that site becomes a separate data controller and its own privacy policy applies from that point on.
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and delete or anonymise it within 90 days of account deletion. Server logs are retained for up to 12 months for security purposes. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept indefinitely.
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise these rights from your account settings or by contacting our data protection contact at the email address listed in the site footer.
If we change this policy in a way that meaningfully affects your rights, we will announce it on the site and, for registered users, by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
